So the stuff you need to know is this:-

• We are cowhide rug and possum fur specialists, we have the biggest selection in New Zealand. I've been told by many Australians that cowhides and possum fur don't seem to be that easy to find over there. Not sure if this is true but I'm happy to help out and it's easy to send them over to Australia.
   
• Australian DAFF (customs) & AQIS (quarantine) do not have any issues with chrome tanned hair-on hide cow skins or possum fur. Quote from DAFF website "Hides and skins (including animal skins with hair still attached) that have been fully tanned are allowed into Australia. This includes articles such as animal skin floor mats, purses, wallets, shoes and belts." Click here for the DAFF FAQ's page that says this.

•  If you buy a stock item through the website you have the right to return products for a full refund - conditions apply. Actually you still have the right to return if you call us to buy over the phone as well! Special orders like a custom made possum fur throws are not able to be automatically returned. Please talk to us first.

• You don't even need to use the website! Just pick up the phone and call us Ph: +64 9 522 1050, or email us with your questions. We can talk everything through with you and we can take your credit card details over the phone.

• Freight is calculated based on the weight of the item. It takes about 5 working days to get a parcel over to Australia. We use NZ Post's International Courier service that includes insurance. We have no control over customs but haven't had any problems yet.

• We can't predict if you will be charged Australian duty or GST when your purchases enter Australia, but again, we don't seem to have had this happen to date. If Australian customs does want to charge these fees then they are additional to the cost of the product and are paid by the customer.
